This sewing project was the winner of “Best Costume” at the Dalhousie Costume Society Gala in 2020. This dress was originally a passion project of mine; with some alterations and accessories, this costume perfectly fit the “Roaring Twenties” theme of the Gala. The project highlights my passion for historical clothing, particularly the distinctive silhouettes, embellishment, and cultural context that defined the 1920s.
